Sing Cool, Swing Hot, Swing Rosie!

Combine the individual talents of three of Toronto's most captivating jazz sirens, add the inspired sound of the Andrews Sisters Era, and you get Swing Rosie!

Kira Callahan, Shannon Butcher and Chantelle Wilson met in January of 2003 and discovered an immediate musical click. Inspired by the warm, rich harmonies of the Andrews Sisters and Boswell Sisters, Swing Rosie added great songs from Ellington, Porter and other legends of the Swing Era and hit the stage.

Whether performing for crowds of thousands or intimate clubs, Swing Rosie always entertains. Known for their tight harmonies and spirited delivery, Swing Rosie never fails to rope in a crowd and pack the dance floor with their classic image, stylish choreography and charming audience interaction.

Swing Rosie put on a blistering performance for almost a thousand ecstatic patrons outdoors at the huge Pure Spirits Patio. It was one of the highlights of the festival.
